Motivated by a shared desire to promote well-being, positive change, and a deep connection to the community, a local group of high school students is leading a WiseTribe project to expand mindfulness and meditation in our community. Sharing the practices of mindfulness and meditation will allow each of us to self-regulate our attention with an attitude of curiosity, openness and attention. With the sense of purposefulness that we strongly believe will result from this shared work, we will be making our community a better place.
To accomplish our mindfulness goals, we will use a guided meditation that encourages all participants to visualize the change we want to realize. Through our powerful shared meditation we hope to achieve a new wave of awareness, health and mindfulness.
By providing a meaningful shared avenue for people of all ages to connect, we will help to unlock the sources of peace and change. Through shared weekly meditations, we will be creating a solution to mutual wellbeing that will spread intergenerational conversations and connections. Our finale will be a community-wide meditation on April 26th powerfully uniting 100+ people all seeking to create peace, health and joy where we live and work.
All are welcome to join us for this collective experience in Delray Beach.
