A WiseTribe Story That Deserves a Beautiful Ending
In 2015, a young girl named Joneldina “Dina” Bazou arrived in the U.S. from Haiti to live with her grandmother. She was in middle school, adjusting to a new country, a new language, and a whole new world.
That’s when she found WiseTribe—and we found her.
Dina quickly became an essential part of our community. Whether she was leading youth food sustainability projects, volunteering at community events, or helping us dream bigger through her joyful creativity, Dina showed up. Again and again.
Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
Dina Is Graduating from Middlebury College
We're celebrating her incredible achievement together, thanks to you!
On May 25th, Dina will walk across the stage as a graduate of one of the country's most prestigious liberal arts colleges. That’s where we come in. Mitha (another member of our WiseTribe family) and I are traveling to Vermont to celebrate this important life event with Dina.
